Ugly Mutts Dog Rescue has grown over the years into a large community of dog loving people.  With the help of individual dog lovers, good-will sponsors and dedicated volunteers, we have been able to rescue and rehome approximately 200 – 300 dogs each year.  Sadly, the number of dogs in need of rescue continues to grow and so in turn does our need for foster homes and caring volunteers.

When you become a part of the Ugly Mutts community you will see why so many people love this rescue.  Rather than focusing on the sad parts of rescue, Ugly Mutts focuses on the wonderful things our volunteers accomplish and sharing the fun and enjoyment of owning a dog. Regardless of whether you have 2 hours a day or 2 hours a month to help out, whatever you give of yourself will ultimately result in helping to save dogs lives.  None of us can do everything but we can all do something!

We have outlined a few of the ways you can help on following pages but we would love to hear from anyone who has a suggestion or a talent they would like to share that may be of service to the rescue.  Although most of us have full time jobs and families and pets of our own to care for, we do respond to emails and can be reached at
